How the engine trades.
Your deposit works in four places at once — trading, leverage, yield and venture. One AI system runs them around the clock; a human committee decides how far it can go.
The four engines
01 – 04Systematic trading
The core engine. AI models trade spot and derivatives markets across major venues, continuously — reading order flow, funding rates, volatility and onchain activity, and acting on it in milliseconds. This engine never sleeps, never revenge-trades, and never gets attached to a position it should have closed an hour ago.
Leveraged positions
When the systematic engine's signal strength is high and the risk budget has room, a position is leveraged deliberately rather than left flat. Size is a function of signal conviction and realised volatility, recalculated continuously — not a fixed multiple chosen once and forgotten.
Yield & liquidity
Staking, liquidity provision, basis trades and funding-rate capture turn the base of the book into a second, lower-variance engine. It's the sleeve that keeps generating return even in the weeks the trading engine is flat.
Venture & seed
The only sleeve where a human writes the check. Two to three private rounds a year, sized small and underwritten the way you'd underwrite equity — because this is the one engine that can't be exited at 3am if the thesis turns out to be wrong.
Where the AI decides, and where people do
GovernanceSystematic & leveraged engines
These trade in real time, inside limits the committee sets in advance — maximum leverage, maximum exposure, maximum drawdown before automatic de-risking. No person signs off on an individual trade; the speed the strategy needs makes that impossible, and the limits make it unnecessary.
Venture & seed
Illiquid, individually sized, and reviewed like a private investment because it is one. Every seed position is underwritten and approved by the investment committee before capital moves — nothing here is algorithmic.
Limits, allocation & custody
The committee sets and revises every leverage cap and capital allocation across engines, and holds the multisig keys that move reserve capital. The AI can act inside the fence; only people can move the fence.
Oversight of the open book
Exposure, leverage and drawdown across all four engines are visible to the committee in real time, not reconstructed at quarter-end — oversight is a live feed, not a meeting.
Leverage, held on a short leash
Risk frameworkEvery engine has a hard maximum leverage and gross exposure set by the risk committee. The AI can size up to the cap and never past it — the limit isn't a suggestion the model can override under conviction.
Gross exposure, net exposure and mark-to-market drawdown are recalculated continuously across every engine and every venue, not reconciled once a day.
Each engine has a pre-set drawdown threshold. Breach it and the engine de-leverages and reduces exposure automatically — de-risking doesn't wait for someone to notice.
Reserve capital sits in cold storage under two-of-three multisig. Only the working capital an engine actually needs live is ever exposed to an execution venue.
